Mr. Grubbs 19-20
  • I was born and raised in Virginia and attended the College of William and Mary, where I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry. I began my education career teaching science and coaching football in rural North Carolina. I also met my wife, Jamie, teaching in NC, and after a couple of years, we moved to Chicago. I taught chemistry, AP chemistry, and I was the head football coach at UIC College Prep. In our sixth year there, my wife and I had our first child Madeline (Maddie for short) and decided we wanted to move closer to family and raise our child in a town like Stratford. We then moved to Stratford, and I worked for one year in Cadott teaching chemistry, AP chemistry, and AP physics. Following that year, I was able to transition closer to home and combine my passions of educational leadership, youth development, and coaching into one in my current role as Dean of Student and Activities Director.
