To say I am excited to serve the Stratford School District and community is an understatement! We have so much to be thankful for in the SSD. We have had many successes with student achievement, extra curriculars, students social and emotional needs, while staying fiscally responsible.
Prior to this role, I was the high school principal in the Mosinee School District for nine years and a technology education teacher in the Fond du Lac School District for twelve years. I received my bachelor's degree from St. Could State University in Technology education, my masters from Marian University in Educational Leadership, and my Doctorate in Education from Edgewood College.
My wife, Gina, and I have two children. Drayton is in college at Bemidji State University and Adalyn is at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
As I stated earlier, I am very excited to be a part of the Stratford School District. We have many things to be proud of. We have scored extremely high on our state test scores, (significantly exceeding expectations in our elementary school), we provide the third most dual credits and youth apprenticeship options in the Northcentral Technical College Consortium, while having the third highest ACT scores in Marathon County! As a School Community we will continue to look at areas to improve while always making decisions that are in the best interest of meeting students’ needs.
Have a wonderful school year and remember, everyday is a great day to be a TIGER!
