Welcome to Mrs. Fuls' Kindergarten Class!
Hello, My name is Mrs. Brenda Fuls. I received my bachelors degree in education from University of Wisconsin River Falls and a masters degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. I have been teaching Kindergarten children for 25+ years with the Stratford School District. Kindergarten is a time of new beginnings, of making new friends, and of learning lots of new things each and every day. Our days and weeks ahead will be filled with wonderful experiences and opportunities for learning and growing.
This school year, we will focus on the letters and their sounds, words families, sight words, and reading sentences. We will also be doing lots of writing activities. Families can help at home by reading to and with your child daily, and encouraging your child to draw pictures and print corresponding sentences. We will also build upon a variety of math concepts that include: sorting, graphing, counting, # recognition, printing numbers, patterning, addition, and subtraction.
