Welcome to Ms. Johnson's Second Grade Class

My name is Julie Johnson and I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher.  I have been teaching in Stratford for 32 years.  I taught Title I Math for 7 years and have been teaching second grade for the past 25 years.  I am originally from Cumberland, WI.  I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and my Master's Degree in Education from Viterbo University.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, along with watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.

Second grade is an important year in the life of your child.  We will be building on previous learned skills and we will also be learning new skills that will be carried out throughout your child's educational career.

I truly consider it an honor and privilege to be your child's teacher this year.  I will strive to provide your child with the tools they need to have for a successful school year.  I invite you to call, email, or visit with me anytime you have a question  or concern regarding your child.
