My name is Bekki Schmidt and I teach 1st /3rd grade Reading and Writing. This is my 2nd year teaching full time at Stratford Elementary. I was familiar with most of the students as I did my student teaching along with subbing here at the Elementary. Prior to teaching here at Stratford I was a Pre-K teacher for 2 years in Marshfield. I have a great passion for teaching and I work hard to engage students in learning through high-energy and hands-on lessons.
I love spending time with my husband, my three children, and my three dogs. We enjoy camping, boating, snowmobiling, and watching football – Go Tigers, Badgers, & Packers!
It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners. I believe in each and every one of my students. My goal is to help my students reach their fullest potential.
