Algebra I Essentials minimizes the number of standards and the rigor of those standards in an effort to make algebra accessible to all students by developing the algebraic concepts and skills necessary for further math study. Use properties to evaluate expressions and operate on polynomials. Solve linear equations and systems, and factor quadratic equations. Students will also use online content programs as a supportive resource. All students enrolling in this course will also be automatically enrolled in Math Foundations (see separate description) unless exceptions are approved by case manager or principal.
